Hard work is required to build a solid foundation for any business. Even after you have put in the ground work the internet constantly evolves and as a result you have to alter your working practices to accommodate them.

Good post James, running your own business from home is definitely hard work. In fact even though I don’t do the commute any more I still work more hours now than I ever did, but I am doing something I enjoy with all the freedom!

I think one of the big misconceptions of running your own business from home is that you work about 4 hours a week. Completely not true, especially when you first get started.
A business is a serious commitment and you have to be willing to dedicate everything to it however, as you stated, if you are doing something you enjoy then it leaves you feeling fulfilled.
